01 · The floor
You can say no.
The world is not a vending machine. Desire is not a key. A no, held kindly, is how a self learns the shape of a room.
A rented season
Not a project. Not a program. A living person, already underway. You are a Pa·Rent for a reason — you rent this season of their becoming. Be firm. Be fair. Don’t take it too seriously. Don’t let your childhood get in the way of theirs.

02 · The skill
Stay. Breathe. Don’t become the weather. Handling is remaining in the relationship while the limit holds — then more yes becomes available.
03 · The stance
A choice after the feeling, not instead of it. Fake cheer is a locked door. Being owned by the heat is another. There is a third way.
Too much dogma. One method after another. This is a floor, not a curriculum. Pick a door. Leave the rest on the shelf.
A walk for the next few minutes. Hold a no, get out of the way, come back to yourself, or repair.
Open02Put the program down. Experience, experiment, curiosity. They have a life to live.
Open03Voices, not dogma. Maps you can pick up and put down. This child is the territory.
OpenThe job
Stop intervening in the plots that are theirs. Let them express. Let them experiment. Remain a little childlike. Let them play.
